Wordpress comment spam, how to stop it?

Keep receiving comment spam from Wordpress and deleting is a nightmare to me. In addition, I hate to receive mail titled “Spaminator: Spammer caught!” saying that The Spaminator has killed a comment!

I am currently using the following plugin, but look like useless…

Kitten’s Spaminator 1.0rc7 Kitten
Kitten’s Spam Words 2.2c Kitten
Click Counter 1.0 Ozh


Some plugin that I have turned on.

How to fight this war against spam? Anyone can provide any input to battle this?
