Malaysia U23 fixtures in 2005 SEA Games

The national U-23 team who are preparing for the 2005 Manila SEA Games ended their VFF Vietnam Agribank Cup matches without scoring a goal.

2005 SEA Games

What the team had shown in Vietnam really make fans worrying. “Can we beat Philippines in our final group match?” Someone asked me a few days ago. “I hope they can”, me uttered slowly.

Memories of 1991 Manila Games appear. That year, Malaysia lost to the host by one goal in Rizal Memorial Stadium and failed to enter semi-finals. What a shame when we won gold medal in l989 KL games! Nov 28, 1991, a sad and black day for Malaysian football. We will remember that day.

The national U23 side will take on the Singapore national U23 side at the Kallang National Stadium in Singapore on Tuesday 15 Nov 05.

Can Norizan deliver? Let wait and see. Good luck then.

Cockroach again!

It was a Wednesday (9 Nov 05) night. Carrying my tired body, I sat aimlessly in the living rooms, switching around TV channel, nothing spurred my attention. “Cockroach!”, shouted C. I turned my head around and didn’t notify any showdow of that much hated creature.

“Inside the room, somewhere near the place we hang our cloth”, C eagerness to catch that thing shown on his face. With a Baygon spray on his hand, the hunting started.

Time goes by… After a few minutes of waiting, our target flied out to the living room, too sudden to us, furthermore without any indication. “Perhaps due to the Baygon”, I murmured to myself although I hate the smell of that chemical mixture.

Without hesitation and a plastic bag on hand, we captured the target.

Misson completed!

I would like to wish all my Malay/Muslim friends Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf zahir dan batin.
Selamat Hari Raya

A small pantun from me,

Dari lorong menuju ke persimpangan
Meniti lautan biru bergelora
Hidup kita penuh dengan dugaan
Tekadkan hati menuju ke puncak menara
